Has it really been two months since an update? I guess so. Well, Brian and I have been hard at work on another big project that I will undoubtedly write about shortly in this blog. However, a regular publishing schedule for New Media Economist will resume this coming week. I’ll also be announcing some new writers joining the staff, so you can expect things to start heating up once again. Stay tuned!

I apologize for the lack of updates. Plenty of new stuff will be coming this week, I promise! In addition, I am bringing in a few other people to write guest posts when time permits. If you are interested in being one of them, just send an email stating this to nme [at] sent [dot] com.

Earlier today when deleting old domains and such on my server, I accidentally deleted this blog in its entirety. I also did not figure this out until about an hour ago. Nevertheless, it is back up and running now. But since I had no backups, it was completely rebuilt, i.e. some links may have changed. I’m setting up automatic backups on the server as we speak, and nothing like this should ever happen again. My apologies for the downtime and the inconvenience.

I have renamed this blog New Media Economist. It just makes sense to talk about the entertainment industry as a whole, rather than keeping a whole other blog about the film industry. So enjoy, as this will also likely mean more content, more often.
